Dental Director Opportunity – Northern California

An established, mission-driven community health organization in beautiful Northern California is seeking an experienced Dental Director (DDS/DMD) to lead its dental team while continuing to provide high-quality patient care. About the Position

• Full-time Dental Director opportunity
• Provide comprehensive general dentistry while serving as the clinical leader for the dental department
• Supervise and mentor dentists, hygienists, assistants, and support staff
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality assurance initiatives, and performance improvement programs
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medi-Cal, OSHA, HRSA, and other applicable standards
• Oversee infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical best practices
• Collaborate with executive leadership and other department managers to improve patient care and operational efficiency
• Deliver a full scope of general dentistry, including:
  • Comprehensive exams
  • Preventive care
  • Restorative dentistry
  • Extractions
  • Endodontics (root canals)
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Periodontal treatment
  • Digital radiograph interpretation
  • Follow-up and continuing care

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active California dental license (or ability to obtain)
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $190,000 – $215,000
