Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist | Maven Dental Busselton

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? Want to join a supportive team in a beautiful coastal location? Maven Dental Busselton is looking for a friendly and motivated Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both the clinical and customer service side of dentistry and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

In this varied role, you’ll support the practice across both dental assisting and reception duties, helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
• Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
• Greeting patients and managing appointments
• Answering phone and email enquiries
• Processing payments and health fund claims
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the team with day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Experience in dental procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of dental software systems.
• Demonstrates empathy and a caring nature.
• Possesses a friendly, positive, and flexible attitude.
• Understands hygiene and infection control procedures.
• Has a keen attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting
• Experience in Dental Software
