We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assisting ProgramThis is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of EducationThe primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assisting coursesThe typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program resulting in a certificate of completion or a diploma; an associate degree preferred

• Certifications:
  • DANB RHS and
  • CDA and/or
  • RDA

• At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant chairside

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized, motivated and results-driven

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
