Dental Assistant – VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System

Location: Multiple Sites Across Greater Los Angeles, CA

Pay: $27.70 to $33.06 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-Time | Day Shift

Contract Duration: Starting November 20, 2025 | 1-Year Contract with 4 Optional Renewal Years

All Med Staffing Inc. is hiring 15 Dental Assistants to support the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by serving our nation’s veteans in a high-quality, collaborative environment.

Locations Include:

- VA Greater Los Angeles Hospital – Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA

- Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center – North Hills, CA

- Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center – East Temple St, Los Angeles, CA

- Ventura Outpatient Clinic – Ralston St, Ventura, CA

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in all phases of dentistry including prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics

- Prepare patients and instruments, record vitals, manage emergencies, and perform lab duties

- Operate and evaluate dental x-ray equipment safely and effectively

- Maintain equipment and operatory per OSHA and infection control guidelines

- Provide post-op instructions and educational materials to patients

- Handle sensitive data in compliance with HIPAA and VA privacy standards

- Utilize VistA, CPRS, DRM+, and other VA software systems

- Support and assist dental trainees with clinical operations

Qualifications:

- Current unrestricted license by the California Committee on Dental Auxiliaries (COMDA)

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant

- Valid Dental Radiological Certificate

- Current BLS and/or CPR certification

- Valid TB test
