Dental Assistant – High-End Cosmetic Dental Practice
Location: Sarasota, FL (near Sarasota Memorial Hospital)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $24-$29/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist in all cosmetic and general procedures (veneers, crown/bridge, CEREC dentistry, implants, oral surgery, etc.)
• Ensure patient comfort and a 5-star experience from arrival to departure
• Maintain a meticulously clean and organized operatory and sterilization area
• Take digital x-rays, scans and intraoral photographs
• Manage dental materials, lab cases, and inventory
• Educate patients pre- and post-treatment
• Uphold high standards of infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience (cosmetic or high-end practice experience preferred)
• Current state dental assisting license and radiology certification
• Familiarity with portrait photography and digital dentistry (CEREC, PrimeScan, Schick or similar)
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• A polished, professional, and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to anticipate the needs of both doctor and patient
