We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team in South Perth, Western Australia. In this permanent, full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our medical team and ensure the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their surgical journey.

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during surgical and implant procedures.

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are ready for procedures.

• Maintain and follow infection control and sterilisation protocols at all times.

• Prepare patients for procedures and help ensure their comfort throughout treatment.

• Assist the clinician by organising instruments and supporting procedural workflow.

• Prepare and manage surgical trays and implant equipment.

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant Certificate III or Minimum 2 Years Experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
