Due to continued growth, we’re currently looking for an experienced Dental Assistant / Reception All-Rounder to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and front office responsibilities.

Working closely with dentists and the wider clinical team, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the clinic across both surgical dental assisting and reception coordination duties. You’ll help create a seamless patient experience while maintaining high standards of patient care, organisation, and professionalism.

Experience assisting with All-on-4 and All-on-X procedures is highly regarded, however strong general dental assisting experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting clinicians during surgical and general dental procedures
• Supporting implant and All-on-4 treatment workflows
• Preparing treatment rooms and patients for clinical treatment
• Taking X-rays and dental impressions
• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Sterilising instruments and ensuring infection control standards are maintained
• Welcoming patients and supporting front desk operations
• Managing appointments, patient enquiries, and general reception coordination
• Assisting with scheduling, patient flow, and clinic organisation
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional clinical environment
• Supporting the wider team to ensure a positive patient experience

About You

You’re professional, team-oriented, and genuinely passionate about patient care. You enjoy variety in your role and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
• Reception or front office experience within dental or healthcare environments
• Knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures
• Confidence taking X-rays and impressions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive and supportive approach within a team environment
• The ability to multitask and adapt across clinical and reception duties
• A strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professionalism

Highly Regarded

• Experience assisting with All-on-4 and All-on-X procedures
• Knowledge of dental practice management software
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience
