We’re looking for a confident and personable Dental Assistant – Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of a practice while also being comfortable supporting our clinical team when required.

Conveniently located within Macquarie Centre and just a short walk from Macquarie University Metro, our growing practice currently operates 4-5 chairs, with capacity for seven.

The purpose of this job is…

You’ll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly creating a positive experience for every patient. Your day may include welcoming patients, managing appointments and enquiries, supporting reception operations and providing chairside assistance to our clinicians.

You’ll be joining a busy, growing practice where being organised, adaptable and comfortable moving between front of house and clinical responsibilities will be key.

What you’ll need to make it possible:

• Previous reception experience is essential, ideally within dental, healthcare or similarly fast paced environments
• Dental assisting experience is highly regarded, with the confidence to provide chairside assistance when required.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional approach to patient care
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable, with a willingness to support the wider team.
• A positive, friendly approach and confidence working in a busy patient-facing environment
