Join our friendly and supportive team at Bupa Dental Narellan. We’re looking for a warm, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and creating a positive experience for patients.

The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to support the delivery of safe clinical care and procedures and contribute to achieving patient care goals in dental health. This role ensures that all equipment and supplies adhere to infection control standards, including the sterilisation and processing of dental equipment and the treatment rooms are maintained in a safe and organised manner.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working Tuesday to Friday, offering consistent weekday hours and no weekend shifts. Ideally, you’ll bring 12 months’ dental assisting experience, however we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Our established 6-chair practice offers a welcoming team environment, convenient access to public transport, nearby street parking and great staff facilities.

What you’ll bring

• Ideally a minimum of 12 months as a Dental Assistant in Australia
• A warm, friendly and positive approach
• Reliability and punctuality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support your team
• Great attention to detail and a willingness to learn

What you’ll be doing

• Providing chair-side assistance to our dental professionals across a range of treatments and procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and equipment in life with infection control standards and BDC procedures;
• Supporting sterilisation processes and maintaining a safe, organised clinical environment
• Delivering a high standard of patient care as part of a collaborative team
