Job Description

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll support our clinicians throughout the day and help keep the practice running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring clinicians have what they need
• Supporting patients throughout their appointments and helping them feel comfortable
• Sterilising instruments and following infection control procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment
• Managing clinical stock and supplies
• Assisting with other day-to-day clinical tasks as required

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
• Holds a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or is working towards one
• Has a good understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
• Communicates confidently with patients and the wider practice team
• Takes pride in providing quality patient care
