Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in the dental office
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Removing excess cement from brackets and orthodontic bands
- Bracket set-up
- Ligature removal and replacement
- Pre-selection of orthodontic bands and separator placement
- Wire removal and placement
- Taking impression and bite registrations and Fabrication orthodontic retainers
- Other duties as assigned to assist team
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Bilingual a plus!

Requirements:
- CPR Certified
- 1 year or more experience
- Graduate of an accredited dental assistant school

QualificationsSkills & Attributes
- Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control procedures
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with dental office software and scheduling systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members
- Organized, detail oriented, and dependable
- Thrives in a busy, team-focused environment
- Additional certifications such as N2O administration a plus
- Bilingual abilities a plus
