The office of Dr. Megan A. Ratliff DDS, MS is Glenview’s premier periodontal office. Dr. Ratliff specializes in treating all aspects of periodontal disease. Pure Perio offers periodontal maintenance, gum grafting, bonegrafting, dental implants, tooth extractions and periodontal laser treatment. The practice is currently seeking a new Dental Assistant to join their team! The full description is as follows:

Schedule for the Dental Assistant:

• Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: OFF

• Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

• Saturday: OFF

• Sunday: OFF

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience

• Seat Patients, Prepare operatory for surgery, Assist Doctor during Surgery and Assist Doctor with Post-Surgical patients

• Dental and Periodontal Charting

• Take patient’s blood pressure

• Take digital x-rays and attach them to patient digital record

• Enter treatment performed and treatment plans in the digital chart

• Disinfect operatory and sterilize instruments

• Assist the doctor, hygienists, and front office staff as needed

• Willingness and ability to foster a team environment by displaying a willing attitude to assist all others in getting the job done and accomplishing the mission of the Practice.
