At 1300SMILES Caloundra, we’re looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time basis.

Our practice has been part of the Caloundra community for many years, with a loyal patient base and a strong reputation for high-quality care. Conveniently located near Bulcock Beach, we’re a busy, well-established clinic that prides itself on delivering a great patient experience and working together as a close-knit team.

You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team who genuinely enjoy what they do, creating a positive, collaborative environment where everyone pitches in and supports one another. We take pride in our culture and are committed to helping our people grow and succeed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-run practice where patient care and team culture are at the heart of everything we do.

We are open to both full-time or part-time applications, with our ideal working days being Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients have a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting dentists with a variety of procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
• Sterilisation and infection control
• Providing excellent patient care and support
• Managing instruments and stock
• Supporting front desk duties when needed

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused approach
• High attention to detail and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, reliable team player who enjoys working collaboratively
