WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Bring the ENERGY! Keep kids excited, engaged, and ready for whatever comes next.
  • Create the FUN! Take initiative and lead games, activities, challenges, crafts, adventures, and experiences kids will love.
  • BE THE ROLE MODEL! Encourage kindness, confidence, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
  • Make connections! Get to know your kids, celebrate their successes, and make every child feel seen and valued.
  • Keep the adventure going! Think on your feet, get creative, and be ready to jump into the fun.
  • Be part of an awesome team! Work together under a Site Coordinator to create an amazing experience for every child.
  • Keep kids safe and supported while making sure everyone has a place to shine.
  • Help set up, clean up and keep the site flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age and have 6 months school age experience.
  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
  • Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
  • Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.
  • Ability to create and sustain a culture of excellence and work and thrive as part of a cohesive team.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
  • Will sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends.
  • Strong oral communication skills required for occasional public speaking responsibilities.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently (children) and move intermittently during work hours.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand Y-USA's three focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility; proven ability to identify and meet the needs of the health seeker
