Job Title: Excavator Operator
Our busy demolition company based in Brisbane is seeking a hardworking and skilled demolition excavator operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and completing paperwork as required. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, excellent pay rate, overtime opportunities, weekly pay cycle and great work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators to perform demolition work
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure they are in good working order
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety of themselves and others on site
- Complete paperwork accurately and promptly
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Communicate effectively with other team members
Skills:
- A high level of technical skill in operating heavy machinery such as excavators
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
Qualifications:
- Current Qld license
- Construction industry induction card
- RTO qualifications for operating an excavator
- Minimum 2 years' experience performing demolition work
- Reliable transport
