Job Title

3rd Shift Demo Worker- Atlanta

The 3rd Shift Demo Worker is responsible for executing demolition tasks during the overnight shift. This includes dismantling structures, handling and operating demolition equipment, and managing waste materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role reports to the Site Supervisor or Demolition Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on demolition of designated structures, machinery, or components following project plans and specifications.
• Operate demolition hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, and dispose of debris in accordance with company procedures and local regulations.
• Identify hazards and implement safety measures to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Support site preparation and cleanup activities before and after demolition tasks.
• Follow all company policies, OSHA standards, and specific night shift procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding progress, issues, or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; minimum 6-12 months experience in demolition and/or construction.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform strenuous tasks.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations related to demolition and construction.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team during overnight shifts.
• Will need to have work boots, all other PPE will be provided.

• Time management skills to complete tasks within the shift schedule.
• Ability to adapt to varying work conditions and emergencies.

Work Environment

• Predominantly outdoors or in partially constructed/demolished structures.
• Exposure to dust, debris, and noise during demolition tasks.
• Night shifts with potential extended hours and physically demanding activities.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Site Supervisor or Demolition Manager

Additional Notes

• Compliance with company safety training and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements is mandatory.
• Candidates must be willing to work overnight shifts and occasional overtime as project schedules require.
