Professionally represent Homemade Brand Ice Cream via sampling events conducted at conventional grocery stores and special events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Part-Time
o Represent Homemade Brand Ice Cream in a Professional Manner.
o Interact & Educate Consumers about Homemade Product Line Available In Their Local Market.
o Most Events are in the Greater Cincinnati area. However, there is approximately 25% overnight travel involved to other areas that sell Homemade Brand Products.
o Weekend availability is a must .Dependability and the ability to work independently in this particular position is imperative.
o Distribute Packaged Product And Or Hand Dip Homemade Products For Consumers.
o Distribute Coupons And Other Promotional Materials To Consumers.
o Set Up Tables, Tents, And Other POS As Needed for Event.
o Drive Company Demonstration Van To And From Events.
o Clean And Maintain Company Vehicle, Equipment, And Location After Events.
o Maintain Safe Working Environment For Associates And Consumers.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
o High School Diploma or GED Required.
o Must Be 21 Years Of Age Or Older.
o Valid Drivers License And Proof Of Automobile Insurance Required.
o Ability And Comfort Level To Drive Larger Vehicles, Such As Small Delivery Truck.
o Access To A Computer With E-Mail & Internet Capabilities.
o Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
o Ability To Read And Understand Instructions. (Primarily English)
o Ability To Work Independently With Little Or No Supervision.
o Ability To Lift Up To 50LBS.
o Ability To Stoop, Bend, Stand On A Continuing Basis.
o Ability To Multi-Task Handling Several Projects At One Time.
Our family opened the first United Dairy Farmers in 1940. In those days, most people were paying a premium to have milk delivered to their homes. Talk about a disruptive concept - we cut the price of milk nearly in half for our customers. While early adopters raved about the conveniences of our store, it was our products made with care that kept people coming back. That was especially true of our ice cream. With our fresh cream and fruits, real vanilla and other quality ingredients, our ice cream quickly became a local favorite.
As word of mouth grew, so did we. Over 30 years ago, we created a new line of ice cream - Homemade Brand. One of our very first flavors was a crazy idea at the time. . . What if we mixed our special recipe vanilla ice cream with oreo cookies? And with that idea, we introduced Homemade Brand Cookies 'N Cream which was the first of it's kind and became an instant classic.
