We are seeking a passionate and motivated Part Time Demi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented culinary professional ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with hotel standards.

  • Work across various sections of the kitchen as required.

  • Maintain cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards at all times.

  • Support senior chefs in daily operations, including inventory and stock rotation.

  • Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.

  • Contribute to a positive kitchen environment and help train junior staff where needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or high-volume kitchen.

  • Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.

  • Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications preferred.

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts across a 7 day rotating roster including mornings, evenings and weekends

  • Strong communication and organisational skills and a team-oriented attitude.

  • Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain food safety standards and understanding of HACCP
