Our client a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Dubai is seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Sushi to join the culinary team in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes in accordance with the hotel's standards, ensuring an authentic and exceptional dining experience for guests.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in sushi preparation techniques, have a strong passion for Japanese cuisine, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes to the highest quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
- Assist the Senior Sushi Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and stored properly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and hotel policies
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet service times
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the kitchen team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Demi Chef de Partie specializing in sushi
- Excellent knowledge of sushi preparation methods and Japanese cuisine
- Attention to detail and high standards of food presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and team player attitude
- Must be currently in UAE
