Are you passionate about artisan baking, buttery laminated pastries, and creating exceptional products from scratch?

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie to join our growing pastry team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, production-focused pastry kitchen supplying multiple cafés, restaurants, banquets, and hotel operations.
From handcrafted croissants and Danish pastries to plated desserts, café favourites, and baked goods. If you love working with dough, enjoy the precision of lamination, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Produce high-quality laminated pastries, including croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish pastries, and other viennoiserie using commercial dough sheeters and lamination techniques.
• Bake artisan products including house-made focaccia, cookies, granola, tarts, slices, muffins, and other seasonal sweet treats.
• Prepare fresh café offerings including wraps, sandwiches, rolls, savoury pastries, and grab-and-go items, along with production-scale fillings such as roasted meats, chicken, eggs, bacon, sausage, vegetarian fillings, sauces, and spreads.
• Assist with plated desserts for our restaurants, as well as desserts for weddings, conferences, banquets, and special events of all sizes.
• Create thoughtful in-room guest amenities for special occasions including anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons, and VIP arrivals.
• Develop your skills across pastry, bakery, production, banqueting, and hotel operations.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Assist with stock control, minimise waste, and work closely with the Pastry Chef de Partie and wider culinary team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, hotel, café, or high-volume production environment.
• Experience with laminated doughs and commercial dough sheeters is highly desirable, or a genuine passion to develop these skills.
• A love of artisan baking and producing quality sweet and savoury products from scratch.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment.
• A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
