We are now looking for an exceptional Demi Chef de Partie to help us deliver the unforgettable experience that makes Harrods truly magical. You’ll be joining a passionate, supportive, and successful brigade, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.
This is a fixed term contract for 12months.
About the Role
As a Demi Chef De Partie, your role is to act as a vital part of the team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the Chef De Partie and other team members.
In this role, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the day to day operational requirements. You’ll assist the management in the planning and forecasting of stock and orders, support with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food that is stored.
You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing a high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all-food related outlets.
About You
You’ll have a strong track record of time spent within a professional kitchen, managing your own section ideally within a prestigious 5* hotel or fine dining restaurant environment.
You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. Having good PC literacy is a must.
