Are you an ambitious culinary talent ready to take the next step in your career? At the Augustine Hotel Prague, we are looking for a Demi Chef – Breakfast / Night to join our passionate kitchen team. Key Responsibilities

  • Support and run your section: Work closely with the kitchen team to manage preparation and service for our high-end breakfast offerings and night/late-night culinary requests.
  • Deliver perfection: Prepare and plate dishes according to the highest luxury standards, ensuring every plate looks and tastes amazing at any time of the day or night.
  • Master breakfast & night service: Take ownership of early morning preparations and night shifts, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining consistency during independent service hours.
  • Learn and grow: Master new culinary techniques, work with premium seasonal ingredients, and adapt to different aspects of fine dining service.
  • Keep it spotless: Ensure your workspace is perfectly clean, organized, and strictly compliant with all food safety standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Solid foundation: You have previous experience in a professional kitchen (as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef) and a genuine passion for fine dining.
  • Flexibility & Independence: Comfortable working shifts focused on breakfast and night coverage, showing reliability and strong self-organization.
  • Eagerness to learn: A proactive attitude, a desire to constantly improve your skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Reliable team player: Good communication skills, a positive mindset, and the ability to maintain high standards independently or during fast-paced morning rushes.
  • Language skills: Good command of English and/or Czech to ensure smooth daily communication within our international team.
