Job Description

As a Demi Chef de Partie – Arabic Cuisine, your responsibilities include preparing and presenting authentic Arabic dishes to the highest quality standards while supporting the daily operations of the Arabic kitchen. You will assist in menu development, ensure consistency in taste and presentation, and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present authentic Arabic dishes in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, flavor, consistency, and visual presentation.

  • Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in developing seasonal menus and introducing new Arabic cuisine offerings.

  • Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

  • Prepare and organize ingredients through proper mise en place to support efficient kitchen operations.

  • Train and support Commis Chefs and junior kitchen colleagues within the Arabic kitchen section.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped work area, ensuring all kitchen equipment is used and maintained correctly.

  • Assist in the timely preparation and service of dishes during à la carte, buffet, banquet, and special event operations.

  • Contribute to recipe refinement and adapt dishes to accommodate dietary requirements and guest preferences when required.

  • Monitor ingredient quality, stock rotation (FIFO), and minimize food waste while maintaining cost control.

  • Stay updated on Arabic culinary traditions, regional specialties, cooking techniques, and emerging food trends.

  • Participate in culinary promotions, themed events, and guest interactions to enhance the dining experience.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence within the kitchen brigade.

  • Operate in a safe and environmentally responsible manner to protect the health and safety of guests and colleagues while supporting sustainability initiatives.

  • Adhere to the company's environmental, health, safety, and food hygiene policies and procedures at all times.
