About the Role
As Demi Chef, your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and present food items for a la carte, buffet, and pastry services to high standards
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the kitchen at all times
Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
Stay updated with the latest food trends and contribute creatively to menu development
About you
We are looking for someone who ideally has:
An experienced chef with a minimum of 3 years in a 4-star Hotel or high-end restaurants, with demonstrated experience with pastries, cakes, breads (Sourdough based, seasonal and cultural)
Qualified in culinary arts with strong technical skills and abilities
Creative, self-motivated, and passionate about food
Able to work independently during shifts, managing food preparation and service
Capable of following detailed instructions for food preparation
Flexible and available to work across a 7-day operation, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
