What You Can Expect

This role is responsible for for executing strategical and tactical components of monthly S&IOP and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) processes including but not limited to: consensus forecasts, cross-functional assumption alignment, and management review S&IOP presentations; backorder tracking, reporting and resolution; managing the supply change request process; CAPEX inventments; Control E&O,

How You'll Create Impact

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Place Purchase orders to Plants in a timely manner and according to parameters set in the system
  • Update planning parameters in the system, such as safety stocks, leadtimes, MBQ, etc.
  • Ellaborate Coverage Policy using criterias like ABC classification, Supply risks and leadtimes.
  • Propose rebalance of inventory among LA countries and also possible excess inventory returns to Manufacturing plants.
  • Monitor Excess and Obsolescence and take corrective and preventive actions to avoid impact in company results.
  • Build and lead supply plan in order to keep healthy coverages level for all products/Franchises.
  • Improve communication to internal areas in order to provide BO and revenue risks.
  • Actively collaborate in the S&IOP cycle, providing a demand and supply plan, inventory projections and possible supply risks and mitigation plans.
  • Align the demand plan with budget considering the sales phasing. Generate predictable forecasts for maximum benefit for resource allocation, capital utilization and investment decisions, including but not limited to: ability to dependably manage inventory and achieve DOH targets, reduce distressed inventory and CAPEX investment.
  • Create list of critical items and follow up properly with Manufacturing in order to avoid risks to Service. Communicate and escalate when needed.
  • Propose and implement inventory and lead time reduction initiatives.
  • Keep Master Data updated based on information provided by departments.
  • In collaboration with Commercial and Marketing teams, execute properly the phase in/phase out of products launchs.
  • Develop and maintain positive, effective relationships with vendors to facilitate timely and accurate processing of orders and delivery of product.
  • Keep tight control over the purchase of instruments and equipments destinated to increase capacity of delivering surgeries . Capex Control.
  • Collaborate in the Capacity Planning process.

What Makes You Stand Out

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills and abilities)

 Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role.

 Solid experience in Demand and Supply Planning, S&OP facilitation and S&OP implementation, ideally from healthcare industry.

 Demonstrated capability to work cross functionally and foster new and existing business relationships.

 Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and develop reports.

 Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all different levels.

 Experience in Protheus and SAP/ERP/APO systems.

 Knowledge in Power BI and Alteryx or oher related platform

 Self-driven, outcome-driven and take initiative to drive the process.

Education/Experience Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Business Administration, Economics)

 APICS Certification – CPIM or CSCP desirable

 Fluente in English and Spanish
