Location: Venlo (Hybrid – 60% office / 40% home)

About The Role

A Demand & Supply Planner orchestrates demand forecasting, inventory management, and DC planning. Collaborates with suppliers, analyses data, and ensures efficient supply chain operations. Balances inventory to meet demand while minimizing costs and keeping high service levels. Key role in optimizing processes and maintaining seamless communication across departments.

What You Will Do

  • Demand Forecasting: Predicting future demand for products based on historical data and market trends.
  • Inventory Management: Balancing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and associated costs and keeping high service levels.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries, and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance metrics such Line Fill Rate, OTIF, Out of Stock Rate, Backorder value and inventory turnover.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing supply chain data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement as well as providing insight to their stakeholders.
  • Communication: Liaising between different departments, such as purchasing & assortment, marketing, sales, and Distribution Centers, to align supply plans with business goals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously optimizing supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in an international field of Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Planning or Logistics,
  • Experience with Inventory Planning software. Oracle knowledge is a plus.
  • Analytical, Communicative, Problem Solving, Pro Active and Customer Focused
  • Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written. German is a plus.
