We are now looking for a Demand Specialist in Cluj-Napoca, Romania!

This role will be responsible for forecasting and consolidating future demand, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in order to ensure customer satisfaction, business trade-offs and optimal inventory levels. This position reports to the regional Demand Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain statistical demand forecasting models
  • Create and analyze demand plans across multiple product lines and channels
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and implement improvements to enhance prediction models
  • Identify and analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends
  • Lead monthly demand planning meetings as part of the S&OP process
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy
  • Manage product lifecycle transitions and new product introductions
  • Identify risks and opportunities in demand planning

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or similar role
  • Proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with demand planning software (e.g. Oracle)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in related field
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
  • Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics
  • Project management experience

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
