Con Edison, a multibillion-dollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County. We are investing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, support electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and scale adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies across our customers.
The Demand Response team is seeking a Clean Energy Senior Analyst to support programs that help strengthen electric grid reliability during periods of peak demand. The demand response team dispatches distributed energy resources, including curtailment and generation located at customer facilities, to help reduce demand on the electric grid during the hottest days of the year.
In this role, the Operations Senior Analyst will support program operations during the demand response performance period and contribute to the reliable execution of the Companys demand response programs. Responsibilities include coordinating operational readiness, supporting event execution, developing processes and procedures, and partnering closely with the strategy team to help ensure program objectives, timelines, and performance requirements are met.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to drive results, apply cross-disciplinary skills in the clean energy space, better understand Con Edisons grid, and gain firsthand experience supporting operations of the distribution system.
