Reports to: Demand & Supply Planning Manager South America
We are looking for an experienced Demand & Supply Planning Coordinator to lead and coordinate a hybrid team responsible for demand forecasting, production planning, and international sourcing across South America. This role plays a key part in ensuring optimal inventory levels across all market warehouses in the region, balancing service level, cost efficiency, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and develop a hybrid Demand & Supply Planning team located in Ecuador and Brazil, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Lead the demand forecasting process for South American markets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial, marketing, and finance teams.
Translate demand plans into feasible supply and production plans for two regional manufacturing plants
Manage import planning from global manufacturing sites, coordinating lead times, capacities, and logistics constraints.
Ensure optimal inventory levels across all regional warehouses, avoiding excess stock, obsolescence, and stock-outs.
Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turnover, and production adherence.
Identify risks and opportunities related to demand variability, capacity constraints, and supply disruptions, proposing mitigation plans proactively.
Act as a key interface between Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Logistics teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP processes.
Prepare and present analysis, scenarios, and recommendations to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager and regional stakeholders.
Take a leadership role in S&OP and S&OE process
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, or production planning within a multinational or regional environment.
Previous experience leading or supervising teams, preferably in a hybrid or multi-country setup.
Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and production planning.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills; knowledge of planning tools is a plus.
Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams across South America.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English is required; Spanish is mandatory; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
AI, Machine learning, Power BI are also advantage.
