Supports the demand planning and forecasting process to ensure product availability, inventory optimization, and alignment between commercial and supply chain objectives. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to develop accurate forecasts, analyze demand trends, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
1. SIOP Coordination
a. Assist in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
b. Consolidate demand inputs from Sales, Marketing, and key stakeholders.
c. Ensure forecast alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
d. Highlight demand risks and opportunities for mitigation planning.
2. Demand Forecasting & Analysis
a. Support the development and maintenance of short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
b. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities.
c. Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of forecast variances.
d. Prepare demand assumptions and recommendations for business reviews.
3. Reporting & Analytics
a. Generate regular demand planning reports and dashboards.
b. Track key metrics such as:
i. Forecast Accuracy
ii. Forecast Bias & Root Cause Analisis
iii. Sales Forecast Attainment
c. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
4. Continuous Improvement
a. Identify opportunities to improve forecasting methodologies and planning processes.
b. Support implementation and enhancement of planning tools and systems.
c. Participate in projects related to supply chain optimization and digital transformation.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
a. Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer demand, promotions, and product launches.
b. Coordinate with Finance to align demand forecasts with revenue plans.
c. Support new product introduction (NPI) forecasting and lifecycle management."
