Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the demand planning process across multiple categories and channels (traditional trade, modern trade, e-commerce, etc.)

• Develop, manage, and continuously improve rolling forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply planning teams to align on volume forecasts (bottom-up and top-down).

• Monitor and improve KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy (FA), Forecast Bias, and OTIF.

• Conduct demand review meetings as part of the IBP process and provide insight-driven recommendations.

• Leverage data analytics and tools (e.g., SAP APO, ECC, BI, Blueshift) to enhance forecast performance.

NPD Management & Commercialization

• Lead cross-functional project management for new product launches from concept to market as Supply Chain coordinator.

• Develop project timelines, identify critical paths, and coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, supply chain, procurement, quality).

• Ensure commercial readiness and flawless execution of launches (product availability, volume planning, packaging readiness, trade plans).

• Partner with marketing and innovation teams to translate innovation pipelines into actionable supply and demand plans.

• Track post-launch performance and integrate learnings into future NPD processes.

Strategic Leadership

• Contribute to long-range planning by integrating market trends, historical data, and promotional activities.

• Act as a thought leader in process improvements for both demand planning and NPD execution.

• Manage and develop a team of planners and project coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related fields
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Demand Planning within the FMCG or manufacturing industry
• Proven expertise in demand forecasting, planning processes, and the use of advanced forecasting tools and models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage demand-supply imbalances effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment
