ABOUT THE ROLE…

The Demand Planning Senior Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure that Demand Planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity. This role also works closely with Commercial and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure a robust Demand Plan for business and products as appropriate.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Support in developing tools and processes in establishing an end-to-end Planning

department.

  • Proactively manages and develops the performance of direct reports and team

members through performance management, calibration, resource review and

planning, capability, disciplinary, training and development.

  • Participate in the S&OP process. Provides inputs and prepares scenarios as

needed to the S&OP Managers.

  • Collaborates closely and effectively with Commercial, Marketing, Portfolio and
  • Supply Planning and S&OE to ensure a complete and robust Demand Plan
  • Develops best practice processes for effective management of a Statistical Demand
  • Planning strategies, and business/customer facing Demand Planning strategy and

team development.

  • Collaborates effectively with the Supply Planning department to align inventory and

financial objectives.

  • Monitors Demand Planning and Suppl KPI's to drive business improvements.
  • Identifies and continuously improves planning tools and processes.
  • Facilitates new product planning and coordinates product discontinuations with

relevant stakeholders and within the Planning environment.

  • Works closely and effectively with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service and
  • Procurement to ensure timeliness of information and data accuracy to avoid supply

chain disruptions.

  • Analyzes planning performance and sets and facilitates a regular cadence of

performance discussions with Portfolio Planners.

  • Responsible for the timely aggregation and dissemination of reports and

communications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree majoring in supply chain management, operations,

business administration or similar.

  • An advanced degree or relevant certifications in supply chain (such as APICS CPIM,

CSCP) is preferred.

  • Experience implementing and using planning tools such as Microsoft Dynamics AX,

QAD, SAP, o9, etc.
