In this role, you are responsible for:
• Forecasting material requirements for the complete financial year and providing inputs for annual negotiation
• Providing material forecast to suppliers (domestic & international) & responsible for PO creation as per demand for different BL.
• Co-ordinating with freight forwarders (AIR and SEA) and ECC colleagues for smooth customs clearance and compliance to all regulatory requirements wherever applicable.
• Timely sourcing of direct and indirect material
• Raw material inventory projection on monthly basis and maintain inventory levels based on defined stock levels
• Ensure compliance to internal and external statutory and regulatory process
• Physical inventory count cycle to be monitored as per guidelines
• Monitoring and tracking of NCC materials to be returned to supplier and sourced back
• Implementing different warehousing concepts bringing value to Supply Chain Management
• Contributing to KPI and productivity measures
• Transportation invoices approval as per frame agreements
• Maintaining SAP MRP details.
• Coordinating with Cross Function Team for meeting project timelines.
• Evaluating Supplier Performance on Monthly and Annual basis
• Create Value stream and drive digitization methods
Qualification and Skills:
• Experience of 10-15 years with Supply Chain experience and engagement with international suppliers
• Sound Knowledge Supply Chain Management (Material Management, Inventory management, Freight Forwarding process)
• SAP Knowledge mandatory
• Tax / Statutory / Regulatory requirements
• Excel Knowledge is mandatory
• Container Handling process preferred
• Knowledge of Customs related process
• Successful track record of digitalization e.g. Forecasting and Supplier interfaces
