How You'll Make an Impact 
  • Material Planning: Preparing the procurement plan of components to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Ordering: Ensure timely placement of purchase orders on approved vendors as per defined SOB.
  • Organize and Execute: Ensure timely delivery of components from vendors with regular follow-up to meet the manufacturing plan.
  • Vendor Management: Re-evaluate Existing vendors/Develop alternate vendors to continuously improve delivery and quality reliability along with cost competitiveness.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Proactively identify the risk & execute mitigation strategies.
  • Inventory Management: To monitor and control the inward movement of materials & maintain the optimum inventory levels.
  • Cost reduction: Drive cost reduction measures to maintain market competitiveness.
  • MIS reporting: Prepare monthly reports for business KPI’s
What You Brings:
  • A passionate mechanical engineer with bachelor’s degree & 2-4 years’ experience in Procurement / Logistics.
  • Sound Knowledge of MS office (Advance knowledge of MS EXCEL, PowerPoint, MS apps.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (MM)
  • Experience & understanding of SCM Practices. 
  • Knowledge of Materials planning & operational procurement.
  • Knowledge of Metals, Manufacturing & heat treatment process.
  • Experience in procurement of machined parts, aluminum castings & Imports preferred etc.
  • Knowledge of Supplier’s Risk assessment & mitigation strategies.
About the team
Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA).  We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
