Job Description


As a Demand Planning & Process Improvement Intern, you’ll support the Demand Planning team in driving process excellence and digital transformation. This internship offers hands-on experience across the full demand planning cycle, exposure to cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to work on digital projects that enhance forecasting, reporting, and process efficiency. You’ll contribute to both day-to-day planning activities and value-adding improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
1. End-to-End Demand Planning Support
• Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis to support monthly and weekly demand planning cycles.
• Participate in demand consensus meetings, collaborating with sales, marketing, and supply teams.
• Help maintain and update demand forecasts, leveraging business and historical data.
• Document and map core demand planning processes to support onboarding and knowledge management.

2. Digitalization & Process Improvement
• Develop or enhance Power BI dashboards and automated reports for demand and forecast analytics.
• Support the transition from manual to digital planning routines, identifying automation opportunities.
• Analyse demand planning workflows, suggest process optimizations, and help implement best practices.
• Participate in projects to improve data quality, forecast accuracy, and scenario modelling.

3. Project Ownership & Problem Solving
• Take ownership of a process or reporting improvement project from scoping to delivery, with regular guidance from the team.
• Present findings and recommendations to the Demand Planning Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Track and report progress, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.

4. Learning & Team Engagement
• Shadow demand planners to learn about end-to-end processes, tools, and planning meetings.
• Engage in cross-functional meetings to understand how demand planning interacts with supply, sales, and logistics.
• Participate in team discussions, share insights, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, or similar
  • Interested in supply chain customer service operations and digital transformation
  • Strong Excel skills; Power BI is a plus
  • Analytical, problem-solver, and detail-oriented
  • Clear communicator; comfortable with cross-functional teams
  • Organized self-starter who can manage deadlines
