About the Role

The Demand Planning Analyst plays a key role in helping KARL STORZ make informed business decisions through forecasting, analytics, inventory planning, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will support planning activities across Veterinary, Canada, Samples, Rentals, and New Product Introductions by analyzing historical trends, business drivers, market opportunities, and inventory requirements. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Planning, and Global Demand Planning teams, you will develop forecasts, evaluate business performance, support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, and provide data-driven insights that improve inventory investment decisions and product availability.

This role follows a hybrid work schedule with 3 days remote and 2 days onsite in our Auburn, MA office. The compensation range for this role is between $73,600 - $95,600.

What You’ll Do

· Develop and maintain demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales performance, business trends, market drivers, and commercial assumptions to support inventory and business planning decisions.

· Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Supply Planning teams to improve forecast accuracy and support business objectives.

· Lead monthly planning activities for Veterinary, Canada, Samples, and Rentals to ensure accurate and actionable business plans.

· Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process through forecasting, reporting, analysis, and cross-functional alignment.

· Coordinate planning efforts for new product introductions, promotions, product transitions, and lifecycle management initiatives.

· Analyze forecast performance, inventory trends, and business metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement opportunities.

· Communicate forecast assumptions, demand changes, inventory recommendations, and business insights to key stakeholders.

What You Bring

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in business planning, forecasting, financial analysis, demand planning, supply chain analytics, inventory management, or a related analytical function.

· Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and business planning principles.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and develop meaningful business insights.

· Experience with SAP and planning or forecasting systems; ForecastPro experience is a plus.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
