Your Impact

At Pearce, the Demand Planning Analyst is an early-career, operations-embedded role responsible for forecasting and planning preventive maintenance and repair demand across a national footprint. Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations, you will support the planning and execution of more than 200,000 maintenance and repair jobs annually by helping ensure workload visibility, staffing alignment, and cost discipline across regions.

Working closely with Operations leaders and partnering with Finance, you will help translate demand forecasts into workforce, cost, and revenue implications. You will also collaborate with the Headcount Analyst, Costing Analyst, and Revenue Manager to support alignment between operational planning and financial forecasts.

Core Responsibilities

  • Forecast preventive maintenance and repair demand across regions, markets, and service types using historical data, seasonality, and operational inputs.

  • Develop short-term and medium-term demand plans to support staffing, scheduling, and execution.

  • Maintain rolling forecasts to reflect changes in work volume, timing, and service mix.

  • Identify demand variability, risks, and capacity constraints, and communicate impacts to Operations and leadership.

  • Partner with Operations teams to understand how work is scheduled, executed, and constrained in the field.

  • Collaborate with regional and national Operations leaders to align demand forecasts with execution plans.

  • Participate in weekly and monthly planning cadences led by the Manager of Business Operations.

  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recurring demand patterns.

  • Collaborate with the Headcount Analyst to translate demand forecasts into workforce requirements.

  • Partner with the Costing Analyst to ensure forecasted volumes are accurately reflected in cost models.

  • Coordinate with the Revenue Manager to align operational demand with revenue and pricing assumptions.

  • Support alignment between operational plans and financial forecasts.

  • Build and maintain demand planning reports and dashboards for Operations and Finance.

  • Track forecast accuracy and analyze variances between planned and actual work volumes.

  • Deliver insights to the Manager of Business Operations to support planning activities.

  • Support ad hoc analysis related to market changes, volume shifts, and service expansion.

Core Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.

  • 0–3 years of experience in demand planning, operations analytics, finance, supply chain, or a related analytical role.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Exposure to high-volume, distributed operations such as field service, maintenance, or logistics is preferred.

  • Experience partnering with Operations and Finance teams is preferred.

  • Familiarity with forecasting, capacity planning, or workforce planning concepts is preferred.

  • Experience supporting budgeting or planning processes is preferred.

$70,000$90,000 USD
