Job Description

As a Demand Planner II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in developing and executing demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal demand management. Your responsibilities include collaborating with a team of demand planners, providing guidance in all aspects of demand planning activities, and connecting with cross-functional teams to analyze data, market trends, and customer insights.

In this role, you will be managing demand and asset planning in a manufacturing environment for Honeywell’s Business Unit. You determine and ensure that a high-quality demand forecast is developed for use in supply planning and financial forecasting. As the demand planner, you will own, adjust, and optimize the promotional lift as well as the instruments that continue lift generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align production plans with customer demand
• Analyze demand patterns and identify areas for improvement in demand planning processes
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand forecasting accuracy and efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience
• Experience managing complex data analysis
• Strong knowledge of demand planning principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with demand planning software and systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain/Logistics/Engineering
• Experience with SAP ERP systems
• Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro)
• APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate
• Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers
