The Demand Planner, based in Spartanburg, SC, supports the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by coordinating demand planning activities, facilitating meetings, and ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and executing agreed plans. This role is tactical, focusing on preparing scenarios, analyzing data, and maintaining the IBP process each cycle. The Demand Planner works closely with sales, marketing, finance, sourcing, and manufacturing to develop accurate demand forecasts, challenge assumptions, and drive consensus on the demand plan.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading the consensus demand planning process and improving forecast accuracy through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
Facilitating and following up on demand review meetings, ensuring decisions are executed.
Tracking and reporting key IBP metrics, driving continuous process improvement.
Coordinating information from various teams, maintaining IBP master data, and communicating demand requirements to supply and finance.
Conducting scenario planning, analyzing risks and opportunities, and aligning plans with business strategy.
Managing the monthly demand planning process, including data cleansing, statistical forecasting, and analytics.
Supporting new product development and phase-in/phase-out processes.
Acting as a super user in SAP IBP demand planning.
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field; 3-5 years of equivalent experience considered.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Strong communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency with planning tools, forecasting processes, and data analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED
Demand or supply planning experience with strong data-driven insights.
Experience in apparel, textiles, flooring, or project-based environments.
