Overview

The Demand Planner for Crocs India is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, maintaining healthy channel inventory, and supporting store and multi-DC allocation across the Retail channel. This role reports to the Manager, DTC Planning within the Planning department and partners closely with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Logistics to improve product availability, manage inventory risk, and support financial targets. The position is based in Gurugram, India.

What You'll Do

  • Own the monthly demand review and relevant S&OP sections, aligning stakeholders on the plan and escalating key risks and opportunities.
  • Develop monthly style, color, and size-level unit and revenue forecasts, including pre-season plans and forecasts for core carryover products.
  • Monitor weekly sales, sell-through, inventory projections, and launch performance; identify gaps and recommend timely corrective actions.
  • Develop category-level inventory strategies aligned with Open-to-Buy budgets, financial targets, and channel priorities.
  • Execute weekly store allocations based on demand, stock availability, store capacity, and business priorities; support replenishment and inventory movement across multiple distribution centers.
  • Maintain healthy inventory by identifying excess stock and in-stock risks, and partner with Merchandising on liquidation or inventory optimization actions.
  • Use historical demand, supply, and size-curve analysis to improve future planning decisions and seasonal size profiles.
  • Drive planning process improvements and adoption of new software modules; deliver clear planning reports and insights for country and regional stakeholders.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, retail planning, inventory planning, or allocation.
  • Experience in FMCG, apparel, fashion, footwear, or another DTC retail business environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, Open-to-Buy planning, replenishment, and retail allocation principles.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to work accurately with large data sets and translate analysis into clear actions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is highly preferred, and exposure to retail allocation tools such as APTOS is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Logistics, and regional teams while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with clear presentation and communication skills; limited domestic travel may be required.

The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
