Job Description

of this role :

Responsible for leading demand and supply planning activities to ensure product availability, inventory optimization, and forecast accuracy. The role drives SOP processes, develops consensus demand forecasts, manages inventory performance, identifies business risks and opportunities, and collaborates closely with Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead the Forecast review and alignment meeting with the commercial team to capture marketing intelligence such as new launches, cannibalization, promotions, product transitions, and distribution plan to build the total demand plan.
  • Develop 18 months rolling demand forecast from historical sales data by incorporating marketing intelligence (promotion, phase-in phase-out, new launches & discontinuation plan) and challenge the forecast as needed.
  • Ensure the sales forecast consistency through the building of a consensus between the commercial, financial budget and historical sales trend.
  • Manage stock level in accordance with the country’s objective. Analyze excess & obsolete stock and communicate with commercial for action to clear to drive down stock write-off and provision.
  • Build Supply plan based on the validated consensus sales forecast.
  • Analyze and highlight on potential business risks and opportunities to commercial and jointly propose an appropriate mitigation plan.
  • Responsible to the Key Performance Indicators – Service Level, Forecast Accuracy, E&O and Stock Coverage. Analyze root cause & propose improvement plan.
  • Contribute to the improvement of demand & supply planning processes.
  • Support the Planning Manager in operations, various reports, and analysis

Perform article creation, shipment monitoring, and other task related to or with impact to supply chain planning

Requirements

1. Have a bachelor’s degree and minimum four (4) years of experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations

2. Experience in S&OP process

3. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and drive for excellence

4. Strong attention to details

5. High level of commitment and initiative, ability to work independently and as a team

6. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

7. Prior experience with SAP and/or statistical forecasting tool be advantageous

8. Have good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.

9. Have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion

10. Have demonstrated fluency in both Thai and English

11. Fast learner, passionate, adaptable, and self-driven
