This position requires the ability to plan, maintain and analyze production and inventory requirements, compare progress to schedule, resolve scheduling conflicts, assess data and coordinate solutions.
· Plan products in JDE utilizing MRP.
· Open and manage production Work Order packages.
· Manage material shortages for production build and communicate status to management.
· Coordinate with Purchasing on the status of parts being procured for production orders to ensure timely release and completion of production orders.
· Communicate with Production Supervisors and Leads to determine status of production orders.
· Attend Production Meetings to provide detailed updates on the plan and manage promise dates.
· Review customer requirements with Customer Service and convey promise dates.
· Set and maintain product master and planning fields in JDE.
· Coordinate stock issues and outages.
· Setup and maintain a master schedule based on customer requirements to drive MRP.
· Setup BOM's inside of JDE and item branch records for all component items.
· Ability to monitor and manage load vs. capacity to maintain efficient business practices.
· Assist Management in setting build priorities, assessing master schedule changes, identifying bottlenecks and constraints, etc.
· Create outside service purchase orders and manage material through the processes.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree is an advantage
· 3+ years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment (preferably in Oil & Gas)
Skills
· Strong organization and time-management skills
· Experienced in ERP systems (Oracle JDE/SAP)
· Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams
· Excellent understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
· Good communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results.
· Able to multitask and manage priorities effectively
· Quick learner with the ability to adapt rapidly
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Proficient in English
