Key Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for our full product portfolio using customer provided forecasts, historical sales data, promotional calendars, and market intelligence.
  • Partner with Customers, Sales and Operations aligning forecasts with new product launches, and seasonal demand spikes.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models proactively to reflect changing market conditions.
  • Create demand planning templates and tools to generate reports and insights
  • Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overproduction.
  • Support SIOP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings with data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans for multiple product lines.
  • Manage inventory levels across manufacturing plants and distribution centers to balance availability with cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement to secure raw materials and packaging, ensuring supplier lead times align with production needs.
  • Partner with production teams to create weekly and monthly schedules that optimize capacity and reduce changeover times.
  • Monitor and adjust plans in real time based on sales trends, promotions, or unexpected supply disruptions.
  • Use ERP/MRP system to track orders, inventory, and production status.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with customers, sales and logistics to align on priorities and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Analyze supply chain KPIs—such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns—and recommend improvements

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of supply or demand planning experience in the CPG food or beverage industry.
  • Proficiency with demand planning software & advanced Excel skills, preferably w/ experience building bespoke planning tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Customers, Sales and Operations teams.
  • Knowledge of retail replenishment cycles, promotional planning, and seasonal demand patterns.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience balancing multiple SKUs with varying shelf lives and seasonal demand patterns.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with food safety and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with demand planning, supply planning and forecasting tools.
