Your scope of work

As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support inventory management and supply chain optimization. You ensure the right products are available at the right place and time by using forecasting tools (RELEX), assortment data and replenishment best practices. You maximize product availability while optimizing inventory costs and supporting international standards across stores and online. You work closely with Category Management, Supply Chain and suppliers to align forecasts with business needs and drive continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing demand plans and operational forecasts across different aggregation levels and supporting the S&OP process
• Managing your own orderbook and creating orders based on product and supplier performance
• Ensuring strong product availability across our 80 stores in the Benelux, with a focus on timely and complete replenishment
• Analyzing historical sales data, identifying demand drivers and improving forecast accuracy through root cause analysis and action planning
• Optimizing forecasting processes and improving system configurations (RELEX) to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
• Collaborating with Category Management, Logistics and suppliers to align demand planning with business objectives
• Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels in line with stock targets

You are analytical, proactive and comfortable working with data in a dynamic environment. You take ownership, communicate clearly and are always looking for practical solutions. More specifically:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics or a related quantitative field
• You have 2-5 years of experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning
• You have strong analytical skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience with a demand planning tool (such as RELEX) is a plus
• You are independent, proactive and have strong communication skills
• You have a hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented mindset
