Demand Manager - Revenue Management at Etihad Airways

We're looking for a commercially driven Demand Manager to join our Revenue Management team and play a pivotal role in forecasting demand, optimizing revenue, and influencing the performance of our global network.

What You'll Do

Drive Revenue Performance

• Own demand forecasting across assigned markets and contribute directly to achieving network revenue and PRASK targets.
• Develop accurate forecasts across multiple dimensions, including cabin class, departure time, day of week, origin, and destination.
• Ensure optimal revenue outcomes through proactive demand management and strategic recommendations.

Maximize Peak Opportunities

• Lead demand and revenue strategies during peak travel periods, holidays, and special events.
• Anticipate demand shifts and capitalize on high-value revenue opportunities across the network.

Monitor Markets & Competition

• Analyze market trends, customer demand patterns, and competitor pricing strategies.
• Identify emerging opportunities and commercial risks, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Transform Data into Action

• Monitor and analyze revenue performance, demand forecasts, and booking trends.
• Validate system outputs and continuously refine demand forecasts to drive better commercial decisions.
• Deliver insights that improve network optimization and revenue performance.

Partner Across the Business

• Collaborate closely with Network Planning, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Alliances, E-commerce, and other commercial teams.
• Ensure revenue management strategies align with broader business objectives and growth priorities.
• Influence key stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and market insights.

Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage advanced revenue management systems and analytical tools to optimize performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance forecasting accuracy and commercial outcomes.
• Contribute expertise to strategic Revenue Management projects and transformational initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
• Experience in Revenue Management, Demand Planning, Pricing, Aviation Analytics, or Commercial Strategy
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Passion for aviation, data, and delivering measurable business results

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or with relevant analytical experience.
• 5 years working experience in a numerate and analytical role.
• High familiarity with airline systems, such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, DDS, and reporting tools as tableau, zenztech.
