Demand Generation Sr Manager

The Demand Generation Sr Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate qualified leads for our sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing automation, digital marketing channels, and lead generation best practices. The successful candidate will be data-driven, creative, and possess excellent communication skills. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment and maximize campaign effectiveness.

  • Develop Demand Generation Strategy –Craft a comprehensive demand generation strategy that aligns with company objectives and target audience profiles. This involves identifying key marketing channels, setting measurable goals, and defining the overall approach to lead generation. The strategy should encompass both inbound and outbound tactics, ensuring a diversified approach to reaching potential customers. This strategic planning will serve as the foundation for all demand generation activities.
  • Manage Marketing Automation –Oversee and optimize the use of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) to nurture leads and track campaign performance. This includes creating automated email sequences, setting up lead scoring rules, and managing data integrations. Regular analysis of marketing automation data will drive continuous improvement. This management is crucial for scaling our lead generation efforts efficiently.
  • Execute Multi-Channel Campaigns –Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing. This involves creating compelling content, managing campaign budgets, and optimizing for maximum ROI. Coordination with creative and content teams is essential for campaign success. The campaigns will aim to drive awareness and generate high-quality leads.
  • Analyze Campaign Performance –Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of demand generation activities. This includes monitoring lead volume, conversion rates, and cost per lead. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve overall performance. Reporting on campaign results will provide valuable feedback for future strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales –Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead definitions, sales processes, and communication strategies. This involves regular meetings, feedback sessions, and shared goal setting. A strong partnership with sales will ensure that leads are effectively followed up on. This collaboration will enhance the overall sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage Lead Scoring –Develop and maintain a lead scoring system to identify and prioritize the most qualified leads for the sales team. This involves defining scoring criteria based on various factors, such as demographics, behavior, and engagement. Regular review and adjustment of the scoring model are necessary. Effective lead scoring ensures sales focuses on high-potential prospects.
  • Optimize Landing Pages –Create and optimize landing pages to improve conversion rates and generate more leads from marketing campaigns. This involves A/B testing different designs, copy, and calls to action. Analyzing landing page performance data will guide optimization efforts. Optimized landing pages are essential for maximizing lead generation.
  • Conduct Market Research –Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for demand generation and stay abreast of industry trends. This involves analyzing competitor activities, researching customer needs, and identifying emerging marketing channels. Market research insights will inform strategic decisions. This research helps maintain a competitive edge in lead generation.
  • Manage Budget –Develop and manage the demand generation budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI. This involves tracking expenses, analyzing campaign costs, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. Regular budget reviews will ensure financial responsibility. Effective budget management is crucial for achieving demand generation goals.

Per the pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $100,000 to $127,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skill set, and any other factors MarketCast considers relevant to the hiring decision.
