Compensation: £35,000 - £48,000 / year


Job purpose


This role will be responsible for overseeing aspects of demand generation. This role focuses on creating and managing campaigns that generate high-quality leads, drive customer acquisition and engagement, and fuel revenue growth. You will collaborate with Innovation, BD and Strategic Partnership/ Engagement teams to ensure alignment on lead generation efforts and to maximize ROI from marketing activities. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, content development, data analytics, and inbound and outbound marketing channels.

You will work closely with the Performance (Digital) Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing and Communications and across other functions, taking ownership over campaign execution. Working with internal and external partners, you will ensure that the UK Agri-Tech Centre’s message is integrated across channels, from website to outbound and inbound, as well as social channels, so that any campaign execution channels opportunities to our website and to increase engagement with our services.

This is a hybrid role which can be based at any of our hubs: Newport (Midlands), Oxford, York, Edinburgh.

Key responsibilities


· Develop guidance and input to implement the UK Agri-Tech Centre demand generation strategy.· Working cross-functionally with the marcomms team to recommend, execute and report on outreach strategies to impact prospective segments.· Support the develop and execution of a comprehensive demand generation strategy that targets the audience, drives customer engagement, qualified leads and pipeline growth, contributing to overall company revenue objectives.· Take a leading role in the creation and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, paid search, paid social, webinars, content marketing, SEO) to attract, nurture, and convert prospects.· Take a leading role in developing lead nurturing activities that engage and guide prospect businesses, using marketing automation tools to create personalized campaigns. · Collaborate closely with the BD and Engagement team to ensure alignment on lead quality, lead handoff processes, and overall pipeline health. · Use data-driven insights to continuously analyse campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations for optimizing lead generation efforts. · Support reporting requirements.· Support work that ensures maximum ROI from each marketing channel and campaign is achieved. · Oversee the marketing tech stack and ensure it is fully optimized to support demand generation efforts, from lead tracking to nurturing and reporting.· Work closely with the marcomms team to brief and ensure content marketing and product marketing align to develop and deliver high-value content, to support demand generation campaigns as needed. · Stay up to date on industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to ensure that demand generation efforts are relevant, timely, and effective.

What we are looking for

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).· A high level of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing in a B2B environment.· Proven track record of developing and executing demand generation delivery that drives customer acquisition, as well as reporting and implementing ongoing improvements.· Deep understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, webinars) and marketing automation platforms. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data insights.· Experience managing a demand generation operation and working cross-functionally with cross functional teams. · Excellent communication and project management skills.· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Preferred skills:· Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools.· Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics and Search Console, Tableau, etc.) or ability to build custom reporting dashboards.· Experience in scaling demand generation programs for multiple audiences.· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.· Understanding of various marketing and sales touchpoints.· Strong writer and content creator.· Good time-management skills.· Ability to multi-task.
