We are the Clinical Trials Division (CTD): We Supply the Hope that Changes Lives
The selected candidate would sit in the Pennsylvania Remote, or Central US Remote area, or East Coast US Remote area and support the Clinical Trial Division. CTD partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time - a concept that we internally adopt as "There is a Patient Waiting." Our unique blend of services includes project management, packaging, distribution, transportation management and specialtylogistics, ancillary supply management, clinical supply optimization, bio-repositorystorageand much more.

Leads a team that provides specialized technical services to clients as part of our enhanced service offerings. Specifically, this team specializes in providing upfront and ongoing demand planning services, including early demand plans, global inventory optimization strategies, proactive inventory management, portfolio management, and IRT set-up consultation.
Leads team that creates andmaintainsglobal demand & supply plans and balances drug inventories, using customers’ forecasts, real-time patient enrollment data/trends, planning software (i.e.Trial Set-up & Planning), and network capacity/utilization data .
Confirms plans are robust andoptimizesglobal and regional supply strategies to ensure continuity of patient supply in the most effective and efficientmanner.
Solidifies connections between demand planning team and S&OP to ensure the latest forecast information is aggregated and integrated into the divisional S&OPprocess .
Develops, implements, andmonitorsappropriate performancemetrics/KPI’s to drive operational performance in cycle-time, cost,qualityand risk mitigation; proactivelymakes adjustments toensure businesssuccess.
Partners with global and site project management teams and/or directly with the customer to inform and proactively share key client data necessary tofacilitatean effective supply chain planningcycle.
Applies advanced supply chain concepts and techniques to ensure alignment of sound supply chain strategies to the appropriate studies based on numerous interrelated factors (e.g.phase of trial, cost of product, storage limitations, shelf-life, regulatory requirements, variability risks, timeline management, etc.) to deliver maximum value for the company and client.
Leads and advocates a culture of proactive continuous processimprovement.
Acts as an SME and activelyparticipatesin initiatives in support of the overall effectiveness of the Client Servicesorganization.
Travel required (perhaps as much as 10-15%). International travel may also be required.
Other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of thebusiness.
Keys to Success:
Bachelor'sdegreein supply chain, business/operations management.
5 years of supply chain and/or planning experience managing global supply chain design andlogisticsmanagement, preferably as they relate to clinical program design and execution.
3 years' experience with direct customer engagement in a customer-facing role with3 years of management experience.
Understanding of clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and the factors that influence study designs preferred.
Requires strong eye for business including the ability to understand the manufacturing process and how cost impacts the overall business.
Requires enhanced PC knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) products.
Requires interpersonal social skills and the ability to lead and work in teams including client services, technical, planning, and financial expertise.
Requires excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
