Job Description

Have you or a loved one recently had a procedure, illness or short-term rehabilitation stay that requires a wheelchair, hospital bed or crutches? Will mom's bathroom be a little safer with a bath bench? Maybe a recent respiratory diagnosis means you or your loved needs oxygen, a CPAP or a nebulizer. The knowledgeable staff at Concordia Medical Equipment has the experience necessary to make the process of obtaining your equipment easy and trouble-free. We strive to hire excellent people at Concordia - and keep them as well!

Concordia Medical Equipment is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate full-time Delivery Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering, setting up, and maintaining life-enhancing medical equipment and supplemental oxygen products directly inside patients' homes and commercial accounts. If you are looking for a rewarding, hands-on role that combines professional driving, technical problem-solving, and high-impact customer service, we want to hear from you!

Essential Responsibilities for the Delivery Technician:

  • Deliver & Setup: Transport, assemble, and set up home medical equipment and oxygen supplies, ensuring patients and their families understand how to use them safely.
  • Patient Education: Provide friendly, patient orientation and troubleshooting guidance on equipment storage and preventative maintenance.
  • Safe Driving & Route Planning: Efficiently arrange daily routes to meet scheduled delivery times while safely operating and maintaining your assigned company vehicle.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow clean/dirty equipment separation guidelines, use proper PPE, and strictly adhere to FDA, OSHA, DOT, and HAZMAT regulations.
  • Documentation: Promptly and accurately complete delivery paperwork, collect patient signatures, and document payments received in the field.

Requirements for the Delivery Technician:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience & Driving Record: Excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license. Box truck experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a knack for basic technical troubleshooting.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to participate in overtime and on-call rotations as directed by management.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, twist, and crouch. Safe lifting techniques and tools must be used to handle medical equipment. Comfortable with driving, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us as a Delivery Technician:

  • Purpose-Driven Work: You are more than a driver; you are a vital partner in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Professional Environment: We advocate for the highest standards of ethical behavior, safety, and workplace quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Enjoy a supportive environment where cross-training is encouraged and colleagues help one another succeed.
  • Top Benefits: 17 days of PTO, 7 paid holidays and an unparalleled retirement plan with a company match.
