Joining our Defence division, you'll lead delivery across a flagship account that supports hundreds of contractors nationwide and generates over £2.6m in annual revenue. Working within a competitive PSL environment, you'll be responsible for driving recruitment performance, building contractor relationships, and influencing a team to achieve outstanding results.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys billing, thrives in a fast-paced contract environment, and wants leadership responsibility without stepping away from recruitment.
As a Delivery Team Leader, you'll operate as a billing manager, combining personal recruitment success with team leadership.
Your time will typically be split:
80% hands-on recruitment delivery
20% team leadership, coaching and performance guidance
You'll be:
Owning and growing an established contract desk within our Defence business
Delivering high-quality contract recruitment solutions into a major customer account
Leading, mentoring and influencing a team of 6 delivery consultants
Building credibility through your own billing performance and market expertise
Supporting team members with candidate attraction, qualification and delivery strategies
Driving contractor engagement within a highly competitive market
Collaborating with senior leadership to maximise account performance and growth opportunities
Creating a high-performance culture where individuals are motivated, accountable and successful
This is ideal for a Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant or Team Leader from a contract recruitment background who wants more responsibility without moving into a purely managerial role.
You'll bring:
A minimum of 5 years' recruitment experience
A proven background in contract recruitment
Strong and consistent billing performance
Experience within engineering, technical or other white-collar recruitment markets
Natural leadership and influencing skills
The ability to gain buy-in, inspire confidence and lead from the front
Ambition to build something of your own and make a genuine impact on team performance
